Course Description:

The conservative enamel reduction makes porcelain veneers very appealing to the patient population and thus an integral part of “quality of life dentistry.” This “wants” as opposed to “needs” based dentistry is an elective but ever increasing segment of the dental market place. This program presented by 3 XPerts addresses various topics regarding porcelain veneers.

Learning Objectives:

Addressing veneer preparation, provisionalization and seating, this course aims to give the clinician a better understanding of the veneer process as a whole. It is also intended to help clinicians achieve effective treatment outcomes through diagnostics, sequential treatment planning, and operative procedures. Detailed clinical information is presented to improve the clinician's knowledge and skills necessary for successful treatment with porcelain laminate veneers.

Continuing Education Course Modules
1 Porcelain Veneer Preparation
Dr. Garber shows how to prep a veneer utilizing Brasseler's burs kit, through the microscope.

In this Lecture, Dr. Galip Gurel outlines specific guidelines for achieving smile analysis and consistent optimal tooth preparation prior to porcelain veneer therapy. He introduces his concept of Aesthetic Pre-evaluative Temporaries (APT) which gives the clinician direct intra-oral guidance in order not to over-prepare tooth structure.
