congratulations Dr Stappert! i hope you solved , and proved, the myth behind wich one is the most resistant material concerning alumina, MC and Zirconia. The truth is Zirconia is more elastic than the others. thank you

Choosing Anterior Ceramics – The Concept of Restorative Volume - Part 1 of 2
In this lecture the author presents reviews significant literature and integrates it with clinical experience to select relevant factors that could provide a logical and practical guideline for restorative decisions in anterior teeth. The presented Concept of Restorative Volume is based on structural, optical, and periodontal factors. Each of these factors will influence the short and long-term behavior of restorations in terms of esthetics, biology, and function.

Restorative Material Selection in Modern Prosthetics
The scope of restorative dentistry is changing at a rapid pace. Technological evolutions in optical scanning, 3D printing, milling and new age materials is in a revolution versus old world concepts. What to choose, why and then when makes the dental team and lab a critical part of the material selection team. What materials are the strongest, most durable and esthetic are key elements in this new world. This presentation will provide you an up to date review of the current materials available and the scientific literature to support specific guidelines as to the selection process. Zirconium, Lithium Disilicates, alumina etc. will be discussed as well as the correct cementation materials with these new products.

Modern Crown Lengthening: Classification and Clinical Application
Crown lengthening procedures are indicated to provide adequate tooth structure in case of subgingival tooth fracture or caries, uneven gingival level, un-esthetic short crowns due to the tooth wear, inadequate axial height, altered passive eruption ,forced eruption of a single or multiple teeth and finally in case of gingival smile. The treatment modality for esthetic crown lengthening procedure should be based on detail diagnosis in each case because of the multifactorial etiology and because of the type of therapy selected by the clinician, will have a direct implication for the esthetic result.

The Role of Digital Technologies & Materials for Full-Arch Implant Reconstruction Premium Member Content

The Role of Digital Technologies & Materials for Full-Arch Implant Reconstruction
In prosthetic rehabilitations, we used for many years codified and widely described protocols in literature, with results that met our expectations and well above those of our patients. It is true that the advent of new technologies has enabled the dental team to use new material and new equipment that facilitated the production of an adaptation and an accuracy of the prosthetic rehabilitation that has, up to now, been difficult to obtain. In this presentation, we will analyze different cases, highlighting the operational differences that they have developed over time, with the increasing knowledge of the new materials and the daily developing of the new software's. It is also described how traditional materials and techniques have been replaced with other innovative new technologies, and how the results obtained with these are systematic and significantly better in updated generations prior.

CAD/CAM Solutions for Minimally Invasive All-Ceramic Rehabilitation of Extended Erosive Lesions
Dental erosion is a global health problem that can lead to significant functional and esthetic impairments of the affected patients. Treatment of sever cases with augmented loss of the vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) represents a challenge for both the dental team and the patient. CAD/CAM technology was used in the presented case to analyze the inter-occlusal space. The case report documents a practical, digital approach and discusses the advantages related to treatment time, ease of treatment, and predictability.
