Nice presentation.

Anton, those models were manufactured by materialise (SIMPLANT). In this case I used non hex t bases from MIS. If you are working with inmediate loading in the upper maxilla you should have a very rigid Temporary not only because the possibility of breakage but also because of micro movements , so we always add a metal wire in the palatal. If the temporary breaks with in t 3-5 days we fix it intra or extra orally, more than 5 days only intra orally and trying to touch less as posible sometimes removing parts. But we should avoid this situation making a very rigid temp and selecting the patient. Best Regards

Very thorough and smooth presentation! Nice digital workflow! Few questions, How do you fabricate a model with analogs? What type of ti-bases do you use on a CAD/CAD PMMA temp? What would you do if a PMMA breaks?

The Digital Workflow in a Modern Clinical Practice
In prosthetic rehabilitations, we use for many years codified and widely described protocols in literature, with results that meet our expectations and well above those of our patients. It is true that the advent of new technologies has enabled us to use new material and new equipment that facilitate the production of an adaptation and an accuracy that has, up to now, been difficult to obtain. Today, intraoral mapping technology is one of the most exciting new areas in dentistry since three dimensional scanning of the mouth is required in a large number of procedures such as prosthodontics, implant dentistry and orthodontics.

Legal Considerations in the use of Cone Beam Computer Tomography Imaging
Cone beam computed tomography imaging represents a paradigm shift for enhancing diagnosis and treatment planning. Questions regarding cone beam computed tomography’s associated legal responsibility are addressed, including cone beam computed tomography necessity, recognition of pathosis in the scan’s entire volume, adequate training, informed consent and/or refusal and current court status of cone beam computed tomography. Judicious selection and prudent use of cone beam computed tomography technology to protect and promote patient safety and efficacious treatment complies with the standard of care.
