Truly a great man and educator. In addition, to his own personal contributions (that still endure), perhaps his greatest legacy is his relentless pursuit of excellence in Dentistry. He was a devoted student of his craft. Always seeking out and surrounding himself with the best and brightest of colleagues. He taught and led by example. Thru personal exchange of ideas, he has touched and continues to influence many of us. Therefore, his legacy lives on. THERE IS ONLY ONE CORRECT DIAGNOSIS......................

The most influential educator in our time at Penn and beyond. He was a game changer in the field and an inspiration to us all. His views remain even with the evolution into Implant and Regenerative Dentistry. thanks Maurice

A true master- I was honored to have presented a case when I was a senor at Penn for the annual award named after him and still on my wall. He touched the lives of many and will certainly be missed.

Diagnosis, Planning, & Treatment of Altered Passive Eruption; From a Periodontists Perspective
This presentation will teach how to diagnose cases of altered passive eruption based on the radiographic evaluation (with peri-apical rx and CBCT) and how to plan and document a surgical procedure aimed to ‘uncover’ the beautiful and natural hidden enamel. In a world where esthetics is becoming more and more a concern a simple periodontal plastic surgical procedure can re-establish esthetic and balance to the patients affected by this condition.

Chu's Aesthetic Guages: Crown Lengthening
The Crown Lengthening Gauge has the Biologic Periogauge (BLPG) tip on one end and the Papilla tip on the opposite end. The BLPG tip is used to achieve the propermid-facial clinical crown and biologic crown (osseous crest to incisal edge position) length during surgical crown lengthening procedures. The Papilla tip follows the use of the BLPG tip to establish the correct aesthetic position of the interdental papilla fromthe incisal edge before the flap is closed and sutured.
