Innovative New Technique for Minimally Invasive Crestal Sinus Lift Approach
Description:
This webinar will describe the protocol for a trans-crestal sinus lift by using an innovative product called the Magnetic Mallet. This technique allows the clinician to perform a sinus lift and same time osseodensification with immediate implant placement, in an atraumatic and conservative fashion. Dr Baldi will describe the benefits he has seen in his daily practice as well as the additional opportunities in treating "everyday cases" with this magnetic dynamic technology.

Dear Maurice, sorry for the late reply but thanks for your question. For every procedure there is a power setting specified in every surgical protocol.

The Magnetic Mallet and its Use in Daily Practice - Clinical Perspective
The aim of this lecture is to analyze the use of an osteotome technique that I perform using a machine that is more precise than the traditional manual mallet, that you can manage using both hands. The magnetic mallet has several tips of different shapes and diameters to manage the native bone and to move it apically and around the implant.

Emerging Concepts in Sinus Augmentation; Atraumatic and Efficient Crestal and Lateral Access Techniques
This presentation will highlight through in depth clinical case documentation, the new and evolving role of instrumentation for access to the Sinus for Bone Augmentation. Efficiency and minimally invasive approaches which increase success and minimize complications will be highlighted. Posterior Maxillary reconstruction often involves Sinus Augmentation and Implants then inserted into the grafted site. A knowledge of useful and clinically manageable techniques that provide access but minimize large surgical flaps and sinus membrane perforations are keys to success.

The Anatomical Foundation of Implant Surgery
Knowledge of Surgical Anatomy is a critical foundation for any clinician involved in implant dentistry. In order for dentists to perform safe and successful bone grafting, implant surgery as well as effectively manage complications, they must first be well versed in the fundamentals of Surgical Anatomy of the head region with emphasis on the Maxilla, Mandible, as well as the roof and floor of the mouth. This Dentalxp presentation, in part, describes the objectives of one component of a comprehensive hands-on surgical Anatomy course being offered live in partnership with Dentalxp. This section emphasizes the Surgical Anatomy of the Maxilla and Maxillary Sinus as an example of what is covered in one section of the course lectures.
