Back to the Future: Feldspathic Veneers & Zirconia Layering Techniques
Description:
Full monolithic zirconia with external stain technique is one of the popular preference techniques used today. There are many selections of multi-layered zirconia disks and blocks available in the market, which enable dental technicians to produce faster and more esthetic results. When it comes to anterior fabrication, however, full monolithic is not always the best option to process the case. There are many varieties; unique translucencies and characterization that can be seen naturally, making it nearly impossible to achieve with just an external stain technique. That is to say, in order to achieve a natural and lifelike fabrication, a layering technique must be done. This lecture will speak about all ceramic layering technique with current technology of digital tools and how these technologies may be able to assist us.

A Refined Digital Workflow in Complete Esthetics
Whether it be analog or digital, the DESIGN of a new smile is the most CREATIVE and critical part of the whole workflow and it starts with a direct mock up or a wax up which will be test driven in the patients mouth. It is the first visual communication between the dentist and the patient, and if it is not executed properly, it may create a negative effect on the patient in terms of loss of confidence and case acceptance. However with the combination of digital and analog tools, today every dentist at any skill level can achieve such amazing smile designs with a touch of a button, without the need of any computer skills.

Solid Monolithic Zirconia Restorations
Full contour zirconia veneers are described by Pinhas Adar MDT oral Design Atlanta and Dr John Heimke Cleveland, Ohio. Pinhas reviews the material and its uses and fabrication to produce natural looking results. Dr Heimke presents cases that have been designed via DSD, Digital Smile Design. From DSDApp 2D plan, to the DSD Planning Center 3D plan, to Roe Dental Lab, OH for STL printing to Final Zirconia Veneer fabrication by Pinhas Adar. See how Digital Integration and Workflows work in a straight forward manner.

Communication Protocols with Photography
Digital photography is a very important subject in dentistry. It is hard to know where to start, especially when applying to dentistry. This lecture serves as an ad aid for the clinician and technician during the process of approaching the patient from treatment planning presentation to the process of integration digital photography into the color-matching procedure.

Microscopic Dentistry; Practical Use in Restorative Dentistry Today
Restorative dentistry has changed in recent years. New materials and techniques allow the execution of partial restorations, direct and indirect, with metal-free techniques and started a true partnership between this discipline and prosthodontics.
A good esthetic and functional rehabilitation starts from the proper clinical evaluation of the patient and of his problems, planning all the clinical and laboratory procedures in order to reduce the possibility of performing a subpar restoration. The use of high magnification in the right steps can improve our clinical result and optimize the session with the patient.
The goal is to achieve the right balance between biology, esthetic and function by applying a minimally invasive approach.

Preventing Subgingival Margins by Implementing Supra-gingival Dentistry Protocol
Restorative margins ending subgingival are considered “normal” and out of the control of the restorative dentist, but in reality subgingival margins are mostly avoidable and preventable! We have the technique and materials to be able to consider all of the above part of the history of dentistry.

CAD/CAM Solutions for Minimally Invasive All-Ceramic Rehabilitation of Extended Erosive Lesions
Dental erosion is a global health problem that can lead to significant functional and esthetic impairments of the affected patients. Treatment of sever cases with augmented loss of the vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) represents a challenge for both the dental team and the patient. CAD/CAM technology was used in the presented case to analyze the inter-occlusal space. The case report documents a practical, digital approach and discusses the advantages related to treatment time, ease of treatment, and predictability.
