Gustavo and Eddie; Dr. Lowe's video series is outstanding. Also, liked the Fritz Kopp as his documentation was superb. This is a science and an art form indeed. Technical questions are usually based upon what materials to use such as burs, cord, and impression materials etc. etc. What are some preferneces out there in XP land? Sam

Gustavo;
This video was selected as a "technique" video and therefore shorter than one that is theoretical or didactic. I hope you enjoyed the beautiful photography and documentation. Take a look at other videos on this topic by Dr. Lowe and Dr. Ernesto Lee. They are longer and discuss concepts as well as technique.
Enjoy and thanks
Eddie

The Importance of Facially Driven Smile Design in Modern Comprehensive Dentistry
Modern dentistry is comprehensive, comprehensive dentistry is interdisciplinary, interdisciplinary dentistry is facially driven, Facially Driven dentistry starts with Smile Design. Facially Driven Natural looking Smile Design is the starting point of modern restorative dentistry and the key to improve diagnosis and decision making. The importance of understanding how to consistently create adequate smile designs in harmony with faces is underrated in dentistry and the notion that this topic is under control is overrated. We don’t know what we don’t know. The aim of this lecture is to highlight the challenges, evolution, and the important concepts to become a great smile designer and also how to use technology to streamline the process and deliver naturally beautiful healthy smiles consistently.

Merging Orthodontics & Esthetic Dentistry for the Anterior Zone. A Complete Clinical & Laboratory Perspective - Part 2 of 2
Anterior zone represents a clinical challenge in dentofacial esthetics. This presentation is unique since we will illustrate multidisciplinary treatment for the anterior zone from A to Z. Through the perspective of a Master Dental Ceramist & Restorative Dentist combined with the input of the Orthodontist we will illustrate with clinical cases the management of anterior esthetic challenges.
Skeletal & dental problems are treated through orthodontics & orthognatic surgery prior to periodontal plastic surgery & finally high quality restorative dentistry gives the final touch to our cases. Extensive details of the ceramic laboratory work will be explained & illustrated for preserving as much as possible tooth structure. The complete management of anterior veneers & metal free crowns will be explained in detail. Color & shapes are an integral part of this webinar.

The Role of Digital Technologies & Materials for Full-Arch Implant Reconstruction
In prosthetic rehabilitations, we used for many years codified and widely described protocols in literature, with results that met our expectations and well above those of our patients. It is true that the advent of new technologies has enabled the dental team to use new material and new equipment that facilitated the production of an adaptation and an accuracy of the prosthetic rehabilitation that has, up to now, been difficult to obtain.
In this presentation, we will analyze different cases, highlighting the operational differences that they have developed over time, with the increasing knowledge of the new materials and the daily developing of the new software's. It is also described how traditional materials and techniques have been replaced with other innovative new technologies, and how the results obtained with these are systematic and significantly better in updated generations prior.

The Class III defect environment entails a vertical and horizontal deficiency in the endentulous ridge. Often, bone and soft tissue surgical procedures fall short of achieving a natural esthetic result. Alternative surgical and restorative protocols for these types of prosthetic gingival restorations are presented in this three-part series, which highlights the diagnostic and treatment aspects as well as the lab and maintenance challenges involved.

Enhancing Esthetics with a Fixed Prosthesis Utilizing an Innovative Pontic Design and Periodontal Plastic Surgery
During the past two decades, significant advancements with the integration of periodontal plastic surgery into esthetic
restorative dental procedures have received increased attention. While ovate pontics have traditionally been used as a
restorative design following augmentation procedures to enhance esthetics, an alternate E-pontic design aims to
predictably support and maintain the gingival architecture between a single missing anterior tooth adjacent to a natural
tooth or an implant that is in harmony with the lip line and face. In addition, the E-pontic design promotes the gingival
facial tissue to coronally migrate over the pontic, creating a gingival sulcus. This article describes an innovative new
technique and a pontic design that predictably will develop, support, and maintain the gingival architecture to provide a
long-term esthetic and functional outcome.
